A little about the Curly-Coated Retriever

 

The Curly-Coated Retriever is an adventurous energetic breed, well suited to an active family with older children. Whilst they are headstrong, the Curly Coated Retriever is also kind, loyal and sensitive and they are occasionally used as assistance dogs.

 

CURLY-COATED RETRIEVER HEALTH INFORMATION

The Curly-Coated Retriever is generally very healthy. Like many active breeds, it is prone to Canine Hip (and less commonly Elbow) Dysplasia. Occasionally they suffer from eye conditions (entropion, distichiasis) and cardiac disease.
