A little about the English Pointer

The English Pointer can make an excellent companion but requires vigorous exercise to facilitate this. Obedient and full of stamina, they are still used in hunting and field trials today for their speed and pointing.

ENGLISH POINTER HEALTH INFORMATION

The English Pointer does not have any major health concerns. Occasionally they will experience diseases such as Canine Hip Dysplasia, Cerebellar Abiotrophy, Hypothyroidism and Entropian (folding inwards of the eyelids). They are prone to tail injuries and require a large amount of exercise and mental stimulation or can become destructive.
