The Great Pyrenean Mountain dog is a large breed that are calm and reliable. They are gentle and devoted to their family, but can also be territorial and protective if under pressure.
GREAT PYRENEAN MOUNTAIN DOG HEALTH INFORMATION
Though often healthy the Great Pyrenean Mountain dog can experience orthopaedic diseases (Canine Hip Dysplasia, Chrondrodyplasia, Panosteitis, Patella Luxation), eye disorders (Entropian), Osteosarcoma and skin disease. Their floppy ears also make them prone to ear infections (Otitis Externa).
