The Hungarian Vizsla is a gentle yet energetic hunting dog. They are exuberant, enthusiastic companions who love the outdoors and can be amazing family members if given enough exercise. 

 

HUNGARIAN VIzsLA HEALTH INFORMATION

The Hungarian Vizsla is overall a healthy breed. Most commonly they can be predisposed to Epilepsy, Canine Hip Dysplasia and some cancers (Lymphosarcoma). More minor concerns include certain cardiac defects (Tricuspid Dysplasia, Persistent Right Aortic Arch), Dwarfism, Progressive Retinal Atrophy, Hypothyroidism, and Von Willebrands Disease.
