A little about the Kerry Blue Terrier

 

The Kerry Blue Terrier is a more uncommon terrier breed but can be a fun-loving companion. They adore chasing, hunting and running - which they require some form of daily or they are likely to become frustrated. It has some protective instincts and can be aggressive towards strange dogs and other pets.

 

KERRY BLUE TERRIER HEALTH INFORMATION

The Kerry Blue Terrier suffers from health concerns such as Cerebellar Abiotrophy, eye disorders (Cataracts, Keratoconjunctivitis Sicca, Entropian, Retinal Folds), bleeding disorders (Von Willebrands disease, Clotting Factor XI deficiency), Canine Hip Dysplasia and Degenerative Myelopathy. They are also prone to ear infections (Otitis Externa).
