Grooming

The Maltese has an elegant appearance and distinctive white coat. A long, silky, low-shedding coat that is prominently white and fluffy. While the breed's coat can be left long and flowing, practicality comes into play with daily brushing to prevent matting. Many owners opt for regular trims to keep the fur at a manageable length, making maintenance more straightforward.

Training and exercise

Known for being a great lapdog, they don't require much exercise. While they enjoy leisurely walks and occasional playtime in the yard, their exercise needs are relatively low. Preferring quality time with their owner over vigorous activities, Maltese dogs are affectionate companions. Their intelligence shines through in training sessions, excelling in both agility and obedience exercises.
