A little about the Schipperke

The Schipperke is a devoted companion and is an excellent watchdog. They do have a high prey drive due to their history of hunting vermin on barges, thus small animals in the home would be highly unsuitable to this breed. They enjoy being with their owners as much as possible and make for a highly interactive companion.
