A little about the Shiba Inu

An ancient Japanese breed, the Shiba Inu is held in high regard for their fiesty, bold, demeanour. The Shiba Inu is spirited, but good-natured, and is known for being nimble and self-confident. They have their own personalities, making them tricky to train. Training should be a priority with this breed from a young age. The breed may easily become possessive, but this can be tempered with good training and socialisation. They will live well with children and other pets, but will command respect and could become imposing if not raised with them.
