A little about the Briard

 

The Briard is a breed with a beautiful long coat and is always eager to please. They are obedient and easy to train, with a gentle attitude towards their families. However, they preserve their herding and guarding instincts and can be apprehensive of strangers.

The Briard may be predisposed to health conditions such as: Gastric Torsion (bloat), Canine Hip Dysplasia, Night blindness, Progressive Retinal Atrophy, and some heart disease.
