A little about Turkish Kangal

Originally from Turkey this large formidable breed, if properly trained, is a friendly protector and welcomes visitors and children into the family. They are sensitive and responsive to changed situations and courageous in the face of danger. An excellent guardian of livestock and their human family, this breed thrives with an experienced dog owner with strong leadership sensibilities. Training is essential for this independent powerhouse. They are territorial, so expect them to bark a lot.
