A little about Wolfhounds (Irish)
Not recommended for apartment living, the Irish wolfhound is known as a gentle giant. They are the tallest of all dog breeds, and thrive in a home with ample outdoor space; they are not well-equipped for stairs. With a strong desire to chase, the Wolfhound should be kept in a fenced space. They may be gregarious toward other dogs, and will likely chase down cats or small pets living in the home. They are very loyal and are known to have a commanding and noble demeanour.
